My name is Elizabeth McGarry and I am a marketing and communications specialist living in Portland, Oregon. Stories and people have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I simultaneously wanted to write sketches for Saturday Night Live and drive a taxi all day.
As a fully grown, well-adjusted adult, I’ll admit it — I never stopped playing. Life is funny and should be treated as such. I write stuff about life, work, and lessons along the way.
“Please elaborate” was a phrase commonly seen on my graded papers from middle school through college. In college, however, I made it seem like my writing style and would frequently leave off the conclusion in essays probably more out of laziness.
